"Before transferring to State Farm, I was insured by an east coast based carrier. At one time, I was employed by this same carrier. This carrier advertised discounts for being military, an employee, college affiliations etc. Thinking I was getting a "great deal" I didn't shop the market until I recently after purchasing a new vehicle.
